Youth Department
At Agape Worship Center (AWC) our youth department is broken up into 3 different Ministries (Nursery, Children and Student), so that no matter their age every child has the opportunity to come to know, love and follow Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Children’s Ministry
At Agape Worship Center, we offer ministries for children from birth through Grade 5. We offer a safe and loving environment in our nursery for babies and toddlers. Programs for preschool and elementary age children are designed to help them come to know, love and follow Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.
NURSERY: Nursery care for ages Newborn through age three is offered during the worship services year round.
CHILDREN’S CHURCH: A preschool group 4 years old through Kindergarten and a school age group Grades 1 through Grade 5 meet in during worship services year round.
Student Ministry
Student ministry at Agape Worship Center (AWC) focuses on youth in Grades 6-12.
VISION:
At AWC, we desire through God's grace to provide opportunities for youth to experience, learn, and exhibit Christ's love for one another and the community by:
1. Building relationships with God and each other.
2. Worshiping our God together through music and prayer.
3. Teaching the truths of the Holy Bible.
4. Living a life that reflects our faith.
Opportunities include:
Sunday School: Classes for middle school and high school youth are held during the school year. We follow a rotating curriculum that addresses different aspects of the Christian faith ie. life of Christ, Bible doctrine, church history.
FUSION
Wednesday night youth gatherings for teens meet at AWC during the school year.
Youth Department Council: One of our goals at AWC is to empower our youth to become a totally sufficient person by growing mentally & spiritually. By allowing our youth to self advocate promotes critical thinking skills. Exposing our youth to real world situations such as budgeting and management skills will better prepare them to serve our community.
